Three short videos are provided that will help you navigate and interpret the commercial profiles provided in the Resources & Preparation section:
The videos are not intended to provide a comprehensive overview of all key financial KPIs, but they will give you a lens and mindset so that you can more efficiently read and review the Commercial Profiles provided.
Timing Guidance: This section will take 15 minutes in total to view the 3 videos, though of course you have the option to replay the videos in full or in part if you wish.
This preparation and pre-read section is structured into 2 resource areas :
- Commercial Profiles - Supplier Lens
- Commercial Profiles - Retailer Lens
During the upcoming Workshop we will be looking at both the Supplier (PEP) and Retailer lenses noted above, so you'll find it helpful to get familiar in advance with the resources provided and any initial opportunities or challenges that you see.
We provide an optional workbook that is structured around the materials provided that you can use to capture your thoughts if you find it helpful. We will provide an expanded version of this workbook during the workshop that will include KPI frameworks and exercise briefs that we will use during the Workshop to help you consolidate your understanding and interpretation of financial concepts and KPIs.
Timing Guidance: Clearly you only need to view the Profiles and reports that are relevant to you and your customer(s). As a guideline, you'll likely want to allocate approximately one hour to review relevant materials and to identify key observations, implications or questions that arise. Investment of this preparation time in advance will maximise your readiness for the Workshop.
The Workshop is designed to ensure you are comfortable working with different financial KPIs and that you can understand, interpret and apply them to your customer(s). The Workshop will provide structured financial concept and KPI frameworks that we will apply to the Customer and PepsiCo commercial profiles and resources contained in this online programme area.
As you read through the resources, if you come across KPIs that you are not comfortable with - don't worry! A key objective of the Workshop is for us to get "hands on" with the critical KPIs linked to the real life PEP and customer resources in this online area, so that you leave the session feeling more commercially confident and agile.

However, if you wish to maximise your readiness for the Workshop you can download and preview resources in this section. If you choose to do this, then depending on how deeply you want to review the materials, you might wish to allocate between 30-60 minutes.
